It's Spring!!
Got a little dyeing done today. What do ya think, don't they make you think of Spring. Yesterday it got up to 80 degrees and I swear all the trees sprouted leaves, hadn't seen any till mid afternoon. The daffodils have all popped out of the ground. I even got one brought to me by a sweet little boy (Dells grandson), he is learning early only 2 and already bringing the girls flowers. Anyway I was feeling like playing in the Spring colors so here is my first offering. I will be loading them onto Etsy in a few minutes.
I originally did Moondance for L-B for her Mystic Light shawl, but hers is in the Glam yarn and these are in the Bad Grrl yarn. Since every monitor shows up a little different I will give you a little description. Moondance is a periwinkle that begins dark and fades to a very light color. Tangerine Dream is not orange it's more of a Coral color. And Kandy Kisses is PINK.....Robin did you see this????
My Mystic Light Shawl so far. I am on the 37th row and I am really enjoying it. I have not taken part in all the chatting about it on the yahoo group but I sure do enjoy reading what everyone else is writing.
That brings up a thought and I bet I am not the only person out there that feels this way. With all the incredible witty and creative people out there I am always so nervous leaving comments. What if they think I was being mean instead of funny or if I just sound stupid. If you are like me and get nervous about leaving comments just keep reading and not commenting I am right there with you. Funny I am totally self conscious of writing here too. That's why I don't do it as often as I should.
I have an apology to all of you that I have shipped out yarn to in the last 2 days. I shipped so much out that the post mistress gave me a big official box to bring them in with. Anyway I was in such a rush to get everything out to you all that I skipped my usual note and little extra (which I am out of anyway). Please know that I am as grateful as ever and love you all.
Thank you all!

Hi ho hi ho, off to work (play) i go.
I got a bunch of the very popular 'Eclipse' dyed over the weekend. I had hoped it would be at Loops today but hadn't really thought about them having time to dry well. So they will be there tomorrow, thank you to all of you have been contacting Loops to pre-order. I do try to get things done as quickly as I can.
For all of you who are loyal Wendy Knits readers, I thought I had been very busy dyeing up 'Ragdoll Diva'. This batch was going out to The Loopy Ewe . Now I am not sure exactly where they will go, I just noticed that I screwed up and didn't put the gray in this one. I am feeling so terrribly stupid right now.
I am taking some pre-orders for the real 'Ragdoll Diva' at stacy@temptedyarns.com if you don't want to take a chance on losing it at TLE but I wouldn't worry about that I can always make more.
This is the tease... to be shipped out later this week to The Loopy Ewe . Many of them will look a lot different after they are re-skeined. I am very happy with how they are all turning out. I have included 'Heart of the Heather', 'Soxy', and 'Ragdoll Diva'. I hope that it will redeem me. Doesn't look like a thing has sold at TLE in weeks :( oh well that's the way it goes.

Got to go Shopping !!!!
Me and Elabeth!!!!
Isn't this the cutest!!! Awesome furniture and lots of great yarn.
Speaking of great yarn, I have to admit I really like this one. I named it 'High Voltage' it really lives up to it's name. Very loud, would look awesome with some see thru Converse shoes. I gotta get a pair of those for myself.

Guess what I did today (2 days ago)
I try to go down to Loops every month when it's time to ship out the sock club yarns. That is where I was today. Wow there are a lot of you!!! Thank you so much for having so much faith in me. It means a lot more then you know. It was incredible to write out all the names and addresses, I was amazed to see how many names I already know. It made me so happy to see so many familiar names. If you haven't made yourself known to me, come on send me an email stacy@temptedyarns.com or friend me on Ravelry I am 'Tempted' (original I know). There is also a Tempted Sock Clubbers group on Ravelry, come and join. Start a cool thread that everyone will want to chat about, lol, I never manage to get those started. It doesn't have to be about Tempted, I know the Mod and she is real lenient about topics. lol
We really had a nice day stuffing big envelopes full of the first installment of the Tempted Sock Club #2. I will tell you that all the Turquoise you see there is paper not yarn.

just had to show it off. The silver isn't showing up in the picture but it has the same beautiful shinny bits in it. I named it Moonlight, I think it fits well. I have done a few other special dye jobs for this KAL but one of them may be a surprise in the future so I am not showing it YET. When I do a custom job that requires more then one skein I always dye them together so that they will match perfectly. I can't wait to see how it knits up!!

3 Yarns
While this was all happening I got the pleasure and honor of receiving a message on Ravelry from THE L-B one of Wendy's good friends. Wow she is amazing and such a wonderful person. I started talking about my desire to thank Wendy for picking my yarn for a pattern. I asked her advice on what Wendy and Lucy (Wendy's cat, for those who may not know) might like. What colors would work, could she describe Wendy and Lucy to me, and maybe colors would come forward from her descriptions. It was L-B who told me that she believed Lucy probably knows very well that she is the Diva of the WendyKnits show. LOL She was an amazing help and so very encouraging always . She answered every question and came up with wonderful ideas. It didn't take long for me to realize that without L-B this would never be a success. She would have to have her own colorway as well. So I started to talk to Wendy and get ideas and advice on what L-B might like. Again Wendy was so helpful. I got very sneaky about it by asking each of them to keep everything a secret. They each thought they were the only one helping (insert wicked little laugh). Then I met another friend of both of theirs (A), and now I had an accomplice. She helped a great deal and kept my secret. Without Wendy's friends and Wendy's help it never could have happened.
While preparing the yarn I found a wonderful Etsy artist Wee Ones . She makes some incredible little stitch markers. I ordered some Ragdoll kitties for Wendy. I made several special requests including Yorkies for my friend Dell and Dobermans for Kaye but the big special request was a specific dog for L-B. Wee Ones did not disappoint, L-B's little puppy stitch markers where a perfect little miniature of the real puppy. Oh and I did get myself and another friend, Lynn who you may have seen here before, markers as well. I got little Maltese dogs and Lynn got a variety of colored kitties.
I finally got my little care packages together and sent them out at the same time. They both received them on the same day. It was incredible I was getting simultaneous messages from both of them. I really enjoyed knowing that they where both happy with what they had received. It has been an incredible pleasure to be able to get to know and create something for people who are such an amazing inspiration.
Thank you Wendy, L-B and A you are all amazing women!
